What Binance checks
You can register with an e-mail or a phone number; Binance verifies the phone by SMS code. If SMS two-factor is enabled, a code is sent at every login and withdrawal. Ranges classified as virtual are sometimes refused at signup; a real mobile allocation is accepted.
- Identity verification is separate. Trading and withdrawing require document checks. The phone number plays no part in that, and nothing we sell changes it.
- SMS two-factor is the weakest factor. Binance itself recommends an authenticator app or a passkey. Use them and keep SMS as a backup, or not at all.
- Never displayed. The number is a security contact only.
Which line and country to pick
Take a mobile line from a range exchanges trust — the United Kingdom, Germany or Switzerland. Exchanges are cautious with cheap ranges.
What this does not do. It does not bypass identity verification, and we will not pretend otherwise. A number keeps your real phone out of an exchange's database; it does not keep your passport out of it.
Step by step
- Pick the line. Choose a mobile line in United Kingdom or another recommended country. The exact price, activation included, is shown before you pay.
- Pay in crypto. Send any of 8 cryptocurrencies to a one-time deposit address. The line is live about a minute after the payment confirms; no e-mail, no document.
- Enter the number in Binance. Type the number where Binance asks for it and request the code.
- Read the code in the panel. The SMS lands in your inbox with the code extracted and copyable. Developers get it on a webhook.
- Lock the account. Set Authenticator app; passkey so the account does not depend on the number alone.
If Binance refuses the number. It is the range, not the line. Ask for a swap — free within 7 days — and you get a number from a different carrier block, with the remaining period carried over.
Keeping the account
- Authenticator app or passkey as the main second factor; SMS as backup only.
- Keep the line while SMS is still enabled anywhere on the account: a withdrawal code sent to a number you no longer hold locks you out.
- Anti-phishing code and withdrawal whitelist are worth more than any number.
